"In an era of generational shifts, amid the rapid development of material environments and a time when various beliefs are engulfed in confusion, the identity of our generation has consistently lingered on the brink of chaos, overshadowed by the vast ocean of information and a myriad of intricate life experiences."
The "The Hundred Forms" series encapsulates the life experiences of an individual with a transcultural identity, chronicling the journey from unease, confusion, and solitude to self-awakening. Art serves as the conduit for the creator's self-expression, while religion and philosophy provide the foundation for life's values. However, the global pandemic and issues such as racial discrimination have exposed the vulnerability of an individual in the face of cultural differences and the tides of time. Upon returning to one's homeland, the impact of family changes, the pressures of living under confinement, and working within a rigid system prompt a reevaluation of self and personal values.
In this series of works, the artist attempts to project their diverse experiences, contrasts, and contemplations from various life stages into tangible forms. By creating 108 ink-style "Hundred Forms Travelers," the artist employs generative imagery's distinctive chaotic semblance to peer, probe, and gaze into the cultures and rules that have shaped their experiences.
"在一场时代交替中，在狂热发展的物质环境下，在各信仰皆处于迷惘的末法时代里所成长的一代的我们对于自身的身份认同，在庞大的信息之海与纷繁复杂的肉身经验之下，始终处于一种接近混沌的边际。"
"百相行者系列"诠释了一名跨文化身份者的生活经历。从不安、彷徨、孤独到自我觉醒的过程。艺术成为了作者自我表达的出口，宗教与哲学成为人生价值基石。然而，疫情、种族歧视等问题揭示了个人在文化差异与时代洪流中的渺小。重返家乡后，家庭变故、封控生活与体制内工作的压迫感，促使人重新审视自我与人生价值。
在此系列试图将跨文化差异环境下的多重经历、差异和各个人生阶段的思考投射为具象的形象。通过制作108幅水墨风格的「百相行者」，用生成式图像特有的形似于混沌边际的形式去窥见、去刺探、去凝视铸就自身经验的那些文化与规则。
